2026 Prince George’s County Election Dates & Deadlines

Primary Election Day

Tuesday, June 23, 2026
Polls open 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Maryland State Board of Elections)

Early Voting Period
Thursday, June 11 – Thursday, June 18, 2026
Early voting centers open daily from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 

Deadline to Request Mail-In Ballot (Mail or Fax Delivery)
Tuesday, June 16, 2026 

Deadline to Request Mail-In Ballot Online (Email Delivery)
Friday, June 19, 2026

Mail-In Ballot Return Deadline
Tuesday, June 23, 2026 by 8:00 p.m.

Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day or returned to an
official drop box or Board of Elections location by 8:00 p.m. 

General Election Early Voting
 October 22 – October 29, 2026
